Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah, the 5th ruler of the Qutub Shahi dynasty has built this beautiful monument Charminar in 1591Charminar has four pillars/towers each facing different directions of the city, no matter from which angle you see you will be seeing the same architecture of the building. The architectural skill/intelligence was that great even 400 years ago.
Charminar is a perfect square monument, a beautiful piece of construction. Each side measures 20 m, and each of the corners has a tall, pointed towers known as minar in urdu language. These four towers are height of 48.7 m above the ground, commanding the landscape for miles around.
